Privacy notice

What I collect and why

When you select “Register and continue”, I save your first name and email for challenge updates, whether or not you finish the questions. I also record your optional marketing choice, the wording shown, its version and the time of any opt-in. When you submit the questions, I collect the practical difficulty you want help with, what you’ve tried, what you want from the challenge and your availability. I also record when you applied, an application reference and the privacy notice version.

I use this information to organise the free Partner Reset Challenge, contact you about it, and prepare useful lessons. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: running the challenge you have asked to join and making it relevant to applicants. I do not sell your information, publish your application or use it as a testimonial.

Applying is voluntary. There is no legal or contractual obligation to give these details. The required fields are needed to complete this form; the previous-attempts question is optional. Contact me if you would prefer to discuss joining without writing answers here.

Please keep your answers about practical help. Don’t include anyone else’s name or identifying details, medical information, details of anyone’s sex life or other sensitive personal information. I don’t need those details for the challenge. If you include them by mistake, contact me so I can remove the application.

Challenge emails and marketing

Your email is for information about this challenge and its group invitations. Future tips, challenges and paid offers are sent only if you tick the separate optional marketing checkbox. The lawful basis for that use is consent. Leaving it unticked does not affect your challenge registration.

No automatic confirmation email is sent to you when you apply at this stage. Your application is saved on the site for me to review and follow up. Brevo is the selected email service. Your name, email and challenge or marketing list membership are transferred to Brevo. Application answers are not included. If the connection is temporarily unavailable, your registration stays saved on this site for me to sync later. When you complete the application, Brevo sends me a notification containing your name and a link to the private dashboard. Your answers stay in the dashboard. See Brevo’s privacy policy.

Who can see your information

I can review and download applications through a protected owner-only page. The website and database are provided through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare hosting and D1 storage. Those services process information needed to operate and protect the site. Information may also be disclosed if required by law.

If you choose to join a Facebook group, Meta handles your Facebook activity under its own privacy policy. Other members can see posts according to the group settings. I do not send your application answers to Facebook or use them to build advertising audiences.

Hosting and information outside the UK

OpenAI hosts the site and its application database on my behalf, using providers including Cloudflare. I have not selected UK-only storage. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate.

The ChatGPT Sites Data Processing Addendum governs OpenAI’s processing of information collected by the published site. For UK data it incorporates Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum. OpenAI’s sub-processor list describes its providers and locations. You can contact me for a copy of the relevant safeguards.

Brevo processes contact information to provide email services. Its privacy policy explains its international processing and safeguards. Facebook processes information separately if you choose to join the group.

How long I keep it

Challenge answers and challenge-only contact records are to be deleted by 9 January 2027, within 90 days of the challenge ending. If you opt into marketing, your separate contact and consent record is kept for up to 12 months from registration, unless you withdraw sooner. Your application answers still expire in January. A withdrawal record may be retained until the contact record expires so you are not added back accidentally. Brevo suppression records and exported copies must also be maintained and deleted as appropriate. The site excludes expired applications and removes them when the application or owner service next runs. I’m responsible for checking deletion by that date and removing any downloaded or emailed copies.

Deleted records can remain in the provider’s recovery backups for its backup period. Cloudflare D1 currently documents a recovery window of up to 30 days. If a backup is restored, deletion requests and expired records must be applied again before use.

If you raise a complaint or privacy request, I keep the correspondence only as long as needed to resolve it and meet any relevant legal obligations. I’ll explain any reason I need to keep a record longer.

Cookies and technical information

This application adds no advertising pixels, analytics or tracking cookies. Its fonts are hosted with the site. The form does not save answers in browser storage, and your contact details are sent only when you select “Register and continue”; answers are sent when you submit the questions.

The hosting service receives technical request information, including IP addresses and browser details. To limit repeated submissions, the application keeps a short-lived hashed network identifier and attempt count until the end of the hour, removing expired entries when the service next runs. This supports the legitimate interest of preventing abuse. The hosting platform uses cookies for security and owner sign-in. Its Cloudflare security cookie, __cf_bm, currently has a 30-minute expiry.

Technical information is retained where needed to run and protect the hosting service, investigate faults and meet legal obligations. The application does not write names, emails or answers to its logs. OpenAI describes its own processing in its privacy policy. The owner area uses Sign in with ChatGPT; OpenAI provides the signed-in user’s identifier and email so the site can check access. You do not need a ChatGPT account to apply.

Your rights

You can ask to see your information, correct it, delete it or restrict its use. You may also have a right to a portable copy where the legal conditions apply. Email ben@themenopausepartner.co.uk. I may need to confirm your identity before acting. Responses are normally due within one month, subject to the applicable rules.

You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by emailing me or using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email. This does not affect your challenge place or the lawfulness of earlier use. The application does not make automated acceptance or rejection decisions or profile you.

Concerns and changes

I’ll update this notice when the arrangements change and explain any new purpose before using your information for it.
